This is the place to go for computer advice, I tell ya, and I've got a problem with my Dell. Windows Installer keeps trying to install something called "PhotoGallery." I have no idea what it is, but it needs a CD. When I try to cancel out of it, it sometimes crashes open programs. HELP! What can I do?

I did a file search and found nothing on the computer with such a name. Some tech types I know suggested a virus, but I did a scan with Avast and Norton and nothing turned up.

I just had the same problem and fixed it. Try reinstalling your printer software or when it asks for the cd put in in, it should work.
