Nope, two Panasonic plasmas here.
(I know that doesn't help you, but figured a reply to your post might attract additional attention for you) |

I didn't research Vizio's when we bought ours. I can tell you that while we were looking at other TV's at Sam's Club, another patron went out of her way to ask us if we were looking to buy a big screen and then went on for about fifteen minutes relaying the horror stories they had with Vizio. The only thing that stopped her was her husband coming and dragging her away.
That's all I can offer. We did no other research. Smedley |

COSTCO carries that line along with others. I replaced the big screens within the past few months in the family room and living room and wanted them to be the same so my wife only had to learn one remote.
I got the 60" Sony's and they perform up to or exceed the positive research info. The info I read about Visio was not all that glowing, but the price is pretty attractive. |

Thanks for those FRZ, I had read them. I was hoping to find someone with firsthand experience.

if you get it at costco you can always return it later for a different model if you think it sucks. i've heard they're pretty good though.

I have a 42" Vizio Gallevia that Costco has and it is great. I bought it just before Christmas at $1299.00 and it has a great picture. Sam's has the earlier/lower end Vizio for $1,199.00. It has dual HDMI inputs, composite input, PC and the normal Antenna/cable inputs. I think it is a great TV for the price.
Here is the link to the model I have. Vizio Gallevia |

Old topic, but I picked up a 37" Vizio LCD after my upstairs TV blew up.
So far, so good. Nice picture, sound is pretty good, HDMI, decent amount of inputs, etc. 720P capable. But at 37" I won't be able to tell. Overall, I think you get a lot of bang for your buck. $757 at WalMart. |
