We have a network in the house of two laptops and one main computer iwth a wireless router. My son, unforunately, had signed on as administrator on one of the laptops and was going to some goofy music teen sites and may have downloaded some crazy spyware program. I have anti-virus and had both Spybot and AdAware on all the computers, but today, everything slowed to a crawl AND you cannot update the file definitions for both adaware and spyboy. Yahoo mail will not load. Everything else is slow, slow, slow. When I clicked on IE to get to the internet instead of the Times Four address (this IS my homepage, homies), A brief glimpse of what appears to be another address flashes in the window before the regular times four address appears. Is that a symptom of spyware.
I tried system restore and it has not worked. I desperately seek advice. Thank you. |

tell your son to stop downloading porn. That's what I told my son and the problems seemed to stop (once I got them cleaned up)

Well according to the browser history that wasn't it.
Is there a good website I can go to that can scan and detect my problem and eliminate it? |

Off the top of my head, I cannot recall the procedure that I went through but it came from the experts at www. pcpitstop.com
Throw it out to them and you should get an answer real quick. Good luck |
