Do you have an antivirus program that dumps certain messages into Junk Mail?

Microsoft is doing away with outlook express as far as I can tell, I have MSN and if I wasn't using outlook about a year ago I wouldn't be able to use it now as they want you to use the new MSN explorer. Since then when using outlook I get duplicate e-mail but only on my main address. If I hightlight and open only one of each e-mail and then jump to another e-mail address and back to my main e-mail address, the duplicates disappear.

(FYI - My e-mail address "main" to my wife's address "another" and back to mine.)

Tim, Outlook Express is not going away. They could be forcing new MSN users to use their software (don't know why they would) but Outlook Express can be used for any POP3 EMAIL account.

It could be a problem with your e-mail server. Let's checkout if it is the client giving you the trouble.

You can try Thunderbird. A nice e-mail client.

Download by CLICKING HERE!

I use Thunderbird with my MAC and it works very well.

We were told (MSN ISP User) that anyone after a certain date who had not been using outlook wouldn't be allowed and would have to get their e-mail on line. My Yougest didn't have and e-mail account before the date (can't remember what it was) and her e-mail address even when set up as a pop3 can't be accessed using outlook.

Lately while I still can access it with outlook, problems are occurring such as server not available. The duplicate e-mails have always been a problem.

Personally, I'd dump any ISP in a heartbeat that wouldn't allow me to use access my EMAIL via POP3.

According to the MSN website some MSN, ISP offer Premium MSN or Premium Plus MSN software. It is quite possible that those providers may be "forcing" customers to use their email service after a specific date. I would agree with PackerHawk, any ISP that does that should be dumped.
